The Simiron™ SG-16 Grinder is a lightweight 110-volt grinder perfect for commercial projects, garages, basements, and difficult to access areas. The SG-16 utilizes innovative engineering and design to maximize user safety and productivity. The unique carriage design includes a floating head, which provides increased surface contact and reduced amp draw resulting in faster and more efficient operation. Traditional swing-buffers require a side-to-side movement which can be difficult for inexperienced users to learn. The SG-16 operates like a traditional floor grinder, and the dual-speed gearbox and motor allows the user to operate the machine at 165 rpms or 300 rpms. The SG-16 allows the operator to grind, remove coatings, prep an existing coating for recoat, strip, scrub, and polish up to 108% faster than conventional swing machines or floor buffers. The pad driver can be outfitted with all Simiron diamond technology from heavy removal to high-gloss polishing diamonds. The SG-16 can also run Diamabrush™ removal, concrete prep, re-coat, and polishing tooling.
